Young people meet with the Church body for the praise and worship time at the beginning of the 9:30 Café service. The informal setting is very welcoming for young families. The Sunday School then go to what we call our "together time" in the Sunday School room, where we sing action songs and take collection, which is the favourite event for the pre-schoolers. They rejoin the congregation for Holy Communion after their lesson time.
We cater for three groups in different locations in the Ministry Centre. Lessons follow the creative Scripture Union curriculum.
1. Leean teaches the 2-year old pre-school group.
2. Heather and Lynne teach the 5 -11 year old girls on alternate weeks.
3. Joshua teaches the boys in the Upper Room.
4. At the 11 a.m. service, a play area is available.
